Game Recap

Hemlock is a talented team and it is easy to see why they were favored to win our conference, but I think that we learned a lot about ourselves tonight as well. I could not be happier with the effort that the girls put in tonight, losing on a PK is a tough way to go down, but we can learn from this and get better. We played together and everyone did their part. The conference race is not over and I think that we have a lot of fight in us yet.

Game Recap

OE came out flat in the second game of the double header. The error fairy reared her ugly head again with 5 in the first inning and 4 in the second inning. That allowed Chesaning to plate 8 runs in the first and 7 in the second. The OE defense settled down the rest of the game with no more errors, but it was to late, the damage was done. Alexis Bushard started on the mound, before being relieved by Chloe Harris. Then Shaila Heeney relieved a tired Harris, striking out 3 & allowing only 1 run. Our offense came to life in the second inning, scoring 3. Danielle Martin went 2 for 3, along with with 6 other Marauders getting hits all for singles. OE. Shaila Heeney had the hit of the night, almost going yard.
