With numerous starters and the majority of seniors not able to play tonight the younger girls were able to step up in a major way defeating Mt. Morris 10-0. This was a nice note to end our regular season on; it capped off a conference championship with a 11-1 record in conference and 14-3 record overall. This was our 11th straight win and we have a good feeling going into the state playoffs. We know that Corunna will be a tough first round opponent on Wednesday, especially when we have to travel there, but I’m excited to see what this team can do. Our girls have made huge strides throughout this season and are starting to break some school records. We have amassed 86 goals while only giving up 17 and have earned 10 shutouts on the year.
